In order to keep track of the whole history of the PHOS commissioning, maintainance and operation, all actions performed with PHOS hardware and software in P2 and all problems and issued should be submitted to the ALICE logbook:

1. Open the log book. Go to "Log entries" and click the button "Add Log Entry".
2. Fill the log entry, indicating the Subsystem (PHOS), Type (Hardware or General), the title should contain the word "PHOS", and the log entry should be clearly described. If appropriate, attach the graphic files. See example.
3. Submit the log entry and confirm the submission.

All PHOS log entries can be easily found in the log book by filtering the Subsystem (PHOS):

1. Open the log book. Go to "Log entries".
2. Set the Subsystem filter: click the binocular in the column "Subsystem" and select "PHOS": see example.
3. Optionally, set the time period filter: see example.
4. All entries for the PHOS subsystem filled in the log book for the selected period will be displayed: see example.
